Perhaps the artist’s quintessential piece for showcasing rosa rigosa, in Nantucket Beach Pinks, we see the often-included beach rose elevated to become the primary point of focus and the entitled subject. A jewel in a sprawling coastal crown, this flower flanks the shores throughout the American Northeast and as such is prominently featured in nearly all of Lovely’s beachscapes.
