The title is intended to capture a spirit of brides and grooms, pairing the feminine poppies with bachelor buttons used regularly in boutonnieres. This playful pairing is mirrored in the pink and blue colors of blossoms, with a single, prominently placed red-petaled leader in the foreground. More than just her literal (signature) color, according to the artist the large red bloom is a tribute to Love.
