Recognized by the National Association of Women and included in a publication about exhibits in Washington D.C., this image was created poolside in the U.S. Virgin Islands, featuring a Playboy model during a swimsuit photoshoot. Signatures from the artist include the triangular focus created by the primary subject, the voyeuristic POV of the viewer, contrast and shading emphasizing highlights on the body, and favored red and pink palette appearances, from the center-focused bikini and umbrella to the intermittent depths in the surface of the water. The title “Volcano” captures both the shape and the smoldering energy of the piece.
